On Episode 104 of the RETROZEST podcast, Curtis provides his personal review of TOP GUN: MAVERICK, the sequel to 1986's TOP GUN. It stars Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller, Val Kilmer, Jon Hamm and Charles Parnell.
The first film celebrated a 35th Anniversary last year, and RetroZest commemorated this on Episode #59 with an interview with Barry Tubb ("Wolfman"). JEAN LOUISA KELLY, who plays Iceman's wife Sarah Kasansky in the new film, chimes in briefly on this episode to share with Curtis and the listeners about her love for the franchise as well. Jean is famous for portraying Tia Russell in Uncle Buck and Rowena Morgan in Mr. Holland's Opus. Curtis originally interviewed her on Episode #60 of the podcast.
